Loved the room. It had a view of the water and was close to Pike's Market and aquarium. The hotel staff was warm and friendly and directed us to a few great restaurants. The guys out front treated us like royalty and were the best valets we've ever seen. They took care of everything for us.
Nice vista from upper floors. Attractive simple decor, modern but warm. Good beds. Good location if you like to walk around Pioneer Square and venture up the hill to Pike's Place. Easy freeway and ferry access.
Only option is valet parking, expensive, and inconvenient if you forgot something in the car. Rooms are small. Tiny fridge, tiny coffeemaker with no tea option for those of us who can't drink coffee. Lots of noise from street and neighbor. Would recommend with reservations, ok, not great. Didn't have promised room, got disabled room which wouldn't have served someone in a wheelchair well and had things lacking for non-disabled.
It is in the center of town. Attractions are within walking distance of the hotel. The rooms were furnished well with modern amenities.
The rooms were a little small
The location was great. The hotel also had a place to print out airline tickets, also had computors available for personal use, nice! The hotel was updated showing casing a contempory style. It even had a location for people that are alone for dining with a small tv making it comfortable for them while they eat alone. The Bristol was also a nice place to get a drink or something to eat. Fresh coffee and daily papers were in the lobby, also a place to buy ice cream, small dinners and sweets or cold beverages. I would visit this hotel again! Ps Also liked the added security. Who ever would use the elevator had to insert the room card for it to move to the floor location.
The pillows were way too hard or full which made it difficult for me to sleep. Also noticed high humidity in the lobby area.
We chose to stay at the Courtyard Seattle Downtown based on the look of the rooms on the website and the location. We weren't disappointed with either. The hotel is a 10-15 minute walk to both Pike place and Safeco Field and there's lots of stuff to see and do right around the Hotel. The hotel and room were beautiful and the staff were amazing. Oh, and the King size bed was extremely comfortable. One thing, we booked the "King Room with Sofa Bed" and did not have a sofa bed nor would one have fit"
The only complaint we have about the hotel is the noise. Our room had large windows which we thought were great but we quickly realized that those big beautiful windows meant we could hear everything going on outside. We kept thinking the window was open as it was so loud at times. Also, we were unfortunately placed in a room right next door to a birthday or bachelorette party and they were extremely loud. We don't think there's much if any insulation/noise control between rooms. We don’t blame the hotel for the loud guests of course and they did their best to quiet them down. That being said, we would definitely stay at this hotel again as the pros outweighed the cons, just not for a romantic weekend away.
Very professional staff service. Try the best to meet our requests.
Bed is not comfort enough. Hard to park at that area. Very noisy outside street doting the night.
The hotel staff was great! Great customer service :) I loved the bed and bedding it made me feel like I was at home.
Great service from very attentive and positive people. Even the valet service was professional and courteous. The room had a nice view of the ocean and it was centrally located in Pioneer Square ( as we were going to Seahawks game ). It's nice to be able to pop back to hotel for things without leaving the main tourist/restaurant area. The extra spent on the room was more than saved in cabs and transit fares we would have incurred had I saved a few bucks and styed farther out.
Close proximity to water front and light rail station, good staff
It's a bit hard to find because the address is not on the building and sign is designed to blend with the historic building, but easy to miss.
i like the room that i've stay which provide me a comfortable place to work and rest. the location is good.
wish the price is could be more competible.
I loved how close to the water front this hotel was, a 10 min walk at the most. Right on the edge of Pioneer Square which was great. Really all of what down town Settle has to offer is less than a 20 min walk from the hotel. Also less than a 15 min walk from Quest Field and Safeco, which is why we orignally picked this hotel, cause we were in town for the Blue Jays/Mariners series. Had a great stay at the Courtyard Downtown.
The bistro downstairs had good food, but wasn't open all day and closed at 10. This also meant no room service for those late night snacks we all enjoy while on holidays.
We loved the Courtyard Seattle Downtown. It was our 5th wedding anniversary. We decided at the last minute to take a trip to Seattle and watch a Mariners game to celebrate. We wanted something close to Safeco but was nice. I booked a double queen room and had requested a view as something special for our anniversary. We were so very touched by the hotel when we got there and found out they upgraded us to the most beautiful suite we had ever seen. I really made our anniverary a special one. The staff was absolutely fantastic as well. We've told everyone about how fantastic the hotel was and what they did for us. We'd stay there again in a heart beat!!!
The location was excellent to Safeco Field and Pike place market.
The pillow ! I should have brought my own.
Reserved for 4 days. New credit card had a default of $1k per day for fraud protection. Could only pay for 2 days when checked in due to previous hotel charge that same day. Manager told me to come in on before noon on Saturday to pay for the last 2 days. When went to pay for last 2 days was informed that the hotel did not keep my 4 day reservation and all rooms would be full. We had to leave 2 days before planned. Hotel room was dirty, empy beer bottle, used bus tickets, old food on floor in corners, no bedding for sofa sleeper, carpet dirty around the walls.
